Apollo Shine Health Awareness

This is the reason the Shine program was conceived. Our Chairman, Padma Vibushan Dr Prathap C Reddy, has been a firm proponent that the NCD burden on the country needs to be addressed with utmost urgency and seriousness. NCDs (Non communicable diseases) are the biggest causes for hospital admissions, and they are largely caused by the carefree lifestyles that have become the signature of modern living.

The goal is to build awareness about healthy living and to educate the community the right way to approach health issues. The awareness talks are delivered by specialists and we have a personalized Health Education Curriculum for each institution based on the reports from the Medi-screen, and categorize it age-wise for the students.

Age-group based webinars have become an important feature of the ‘New-normal’ and we have also found ways to make it interesting for our student members. Apollo Shine also extends these health awareness webinars for parents and teaching/ non-teaching community, ensuring consistency in messaging across the student ecosystem. We have a huge range of topics that we cover in-house and on occasion we include external speakers as well.
