Apollo SHINE Health Rooms are designed based on specifically created protocols by Asia’s leading healthcare giant, the Apollo Hospitals Group. We understand that these rooms need to be welcoming and yet professionally managed therefore we have ensured that all our room are connected to a Central Monitoring System supported by a team of doctors and trained Nurse officers. Our Nursing Officers are trained to educate first and medicate next, ensuring that students don’t fall into the trap of instant medication. All our nurses follow the Apollo Shine Code of Health Management with strict adherence to triaging process and documentation.

What difference will an Apollo SHINE Health Room make on campus:

• Tend to minor illnesses and injuries.
  (Which means you don’t have to send the student back home in the middle of working hours or pull parents from their offices to pick them up)
• Provide immediate attention and ambulance supporting case of emergencies and help shifting of student in an ambulance to the nearest hospital in the vicinity, if required. While these emergencies may be far and few between, the life of a student should never be compromised when facilities are available.
• Equipping a facility with Beds, medicines, first-aid kits, oxygen cylinders, and all other required equipment is as simple as a shopping on Amazon but regular monitoring, maintenance and replacement of equipment and medicines requires medical expertise and experience.
• Documentation of every student/staff walk-in, Cases triaged based on severity, telephonic consultation with SHINE doctors on-call 24/7, all are part of a service that is aware of the responsibility of looking after lives.
• On-campus monitoring and management of students with chronic illnesses requiring specific medication.
• Analytics based approach to assess the health of the entire organization ensures that we are always prepared.

Digital Health Rooms:

As schools and colleges have moved into a hybrid, if not fully digital, mode, Apollo Shine too has been working furiously to create a virtual health room that can assist students studying at home. The scope has been expanded to include home-based accidents as well and to include mental health services. The Shine Parivar app is a downloadable tool to help recreate the Apollo Shine experience at home through audio and video consults with the school nurse and Apollo Shine doctors.
